Experience

My interest in helping others in math started in the first grade when I helped my cousin with his math concepts. While some concepts in mathematics did not come easily to me, I was always determined to completely understand the logic. This exploration encouraged me to continue my education in mathematics. My classmates always turned to me for help, and I loved to be of service to them. I have been teaching yoga for 6 years to all ages (newborns - senior citizens), but have focused mostly on school-aged children. My yoga experience has taught me how to communicate new concepts with patience and understanding. At the dance and martial arts studio that I taught yoga at, I also tutored students in math in grades 1 - 12.
